Scene #3 – Jesus Healing the Blind Man
“After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. ‘Go,’ he told him, ‘wash in the Pool of Siloam.’ So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.”
John 9:6–7
In this miraculous moment, Jesus restores physical sight to the blind man, revealing His divine authority and compassion. This powerful act reminds us that Christ not only opens blind eyes, but also brings spiritual light to those who seek Him, guiding us from darkness into truth.
Jesus’ healing ministry was a profound expression of His compassion and divine authority, fulfilling the prophecies of the Suffering Servant in Isaiah. He healed physical ailments, cast out demons and restored people’s dignity, revealing that God’s kingdom had arrived and was actively working to bring wholeness and freedom. Through His life-giving acts, Jesus offered glimpses of ultimate restoration, pointing to His sacrificial death and resurrection as the source of true, eternal healing for humanity.
